Phillip Phillips vs. Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes locked Phil in the inverted headlock for the Crossrhodes, but Phil wriggled out of it then jumped up behind Cody, then grabbed him by the waist and hit a German suplex! Right on the tacks. Phillip grabbed the microphone out of the ref's hand then leaned in towards Cody.

"Do you quit!?"

"...No, you son of a bitch!"

Cody then grabbed Phil by the head and rammed his face right into the thumbtacks.

Phillip was shocked. He pulled his face out of the thumbtacks with his mouth gaping open. Cody kicked him in the gut then locked him in a facelock, but Phillip pushed him away and hit a superkick! Phillip was now bleeding profusely as he began to yank the tacks out of his face. Almost all of the thumbtacks were removed now, and Phillip dawned the proverbial "crimson mask". Phillip pulled a pair of wire cutters out from under the ring as he spat out the blood that was now dripping into his eyes and mouth. He stabbed Cody in the forehead multiple times with them, and now Rhodes was busted open, too. Phillip dropped the wire cutters, then grabbed the microphone again.

"FUCKING QUIT, YOU SONOFABITCH!"

Cody pulled a stun gun from under the ring and assaulted Phil with it.

"You first...you dumb bastard..."

Phillip barely managed to reply, breathing heavily in between words.

"Oh... hell.... no..."

He nailed Cody with yet another low blow, then slowly stood up, using the ring post for support. Cody was on his knees now, and Phillip shoved his head between his legs, then lifted him over his shoulders. Phillip began to walk towards the table. Cody squirmed in the position, but Phillip somehow managed to keep a hold of him long enough to powerbomb him through the table! He then grabbed the handcuffs and locked one around Cody's hand. He wrapped the chain behind the pole, then locked the other one around Cody's hand, leaving him stuck. Phillip wiped some blood off his face so he could see better, then walked over to the ring bell and picked up the International Championship! He began rapidly nailing Cody in the gut with the belt. Finally, he dropped it, then climbed up the barricade, facing the crowd. They cheered as he flipped around and... Crash & Burn! Off the barricade! Right to Cody, handcuffed to the pole! He grabbed the microphone again, then barely uttered the words:

"Do you quit?"

"...I quit."


Cody then wiped some of the blood off of his head and leaned against the ringpost.

Phillip grinned, satisfied at Cody's reply.

And the winner of the second round... Phillip... Phillips!

The match was now normal, so the referee began to count out Cody as Phillip re-entered the ring. Cody lay helpless, chained to the pole as Phillip sat in the corner and regained stamina.

Cody walks over to the international championship, kneeling over Phil and holding it above his head.

"You son of a bitch, I am the true champion...not you."

He then laid the belt over Phil's chest, walking away, as Smoke and Mirrors plays again.

Ding ding ding!
Here's your winner, and the new International Champion... Phillip... Phillips!

Phillip grabbed the title. He slowly stood up and got on his knees, staring at it with a huge grin from ear to ear plastered on his face. He was hyperventilating from the blood loss, and he didn't really win the match fairly, but he didn't care. He was the new and first ever International Champion. He stared at the title for the longest time, then finally got to his feet then raised it up in the air in victory, causing the crowd to cheer like they never have before. Phillip slowly toppled to the ground, and the medics carried him away on a stretcher, the belt appearing to be glued to Phillip's hand...
